STAR to launch new series

‘Fuse reality with fiction’ seems to be the new mantra of Star. The Hindi General Entertainment channel Star Plus is all set to launch a new show from November 4. The show is produced by Sphere Origins.
The new fiction series titled ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ is set against the backdrop of a remote village in North India. It portrays the journey of Sarju (Saurabh Pandey), who is saddled with heavy family debts leaves his village to make a living in a city away from his family.

Star Plus GM and EVP Keertan Adhyanthaya says, "Indian viewers want real stories with easily identifiable characters. The viewer wants a slice from their own lives and Tere Mere Sapne's concept and simple yet insightful narration will surely capture their attention and brings forth a topic that has never been explored on Indian television."
The new fiction series will run from Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm. ‘Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai’, the other Star fiction series currently occupying the 8.30 pm band, will be moved to the 8 pm slot to accommodate the new show.
