9XM enters social gaming arena with Bade and Chote

9XM, the Bollywood music channel, is entering into the social networking gaming arena with its popular animated duo ‘Bade & Chote’.
The channel has partnered with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to launch an interactive game Be a Star Paparazzi. The game on Facebook platform will feature Bade - Chote and Khan.

Zee to launch two niche channels

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd proposes to launch two niche channels for food and golf by the year-end, as part of plans to diversify its bouquet of channels. “We plan to launch two to three niche channels for food, golf and kids once the regulatory clearances are received,” Mr Punit Goenka, CEO and Managing Director, Zee Entertainment, told reporters.

UTV Movies says "Jeeyo Bollywood"

UTV Movies is all set to launch Phase 2 of its campaign titled "Jeeyo Bollywood". The campaign reaches out to the channel's viewers during the festive season, comprising festivals such as Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussera and Diwali.
The first leg of the campaign was rolled out in June, celebrating the re-branding exercise undertaken by UTV.

Den enters into JV with BFTV to launch BabyFirst channel

MUMBAI: Sameer Manchanda-promoted Den Networks, through its television and media services arm IME Networks, has entered into a joint venture partnership with BFTV LLC, broadcasters of BabyFirst, the international television channel for babies, toddlers and parents.
The JV, in which IME Network holds 75 per cent, marks Den’s foray into introducing international channels of genres currently “underserved” in the Indian market.
