Nat Geo launches three channels in Australia

National Geographic Channel (NGC) has launched three new channels in Australia - Nat Geo Wild HD, National Geographic Channel +2 and Nat Geo Adventure +2.
NGC Australia MD Karin Simoncini said that the aim is to give viewers in each time zone across Australia more choices to watch their favourite shows when they want to.

“Viewers can expect exceptional quality on Nat Geo Wild HD, which has proven to be a favourite SD channel for Australian viewers. With the +2 channels, we are giving Australian audiences much more flexibility to watch the world’s best factual entertainment, all of which is programmed and promoted locally,” Simoncini said.
The broadcaster days that Nat Geo Wild HD takes viewers into the natural world where incredible creatures are showcased in more detail.
National Geographic Channel +2 invites viewers to continue to live curious through programming that questions what we know, how we view the world and what drives us forward. It features the genres of wildlife, science, culture, technology, history and investigation.
Meanwhile, Nat Geo Adventure +2 features characters with entertaining observations about the world. They lead viewers down paths less travelled.
