After Sahara Samay, it is Aalami Sahara making rounds

Sahara News Network launched its Urdu News channel Aalami Sahara on December 27, 2010 in the capital. The channel will be aired in 54 different countries.
The channel will cater regional, national and international audiences with a varied newsy content. The company is a part of business conglomerate ‘Sahara India Pariwar’, which publishes an Urdu daily ‘Roznama Rashtriya Sahara’, a weekly-magazine ‘Aalami Sahara’ and a monthly tabloid ‘Bazm-e-Sahara’. Aalmi Sahara was launched with a view to present cutting-edge news of regional, national and International caliber with fairness and objectivity and will keep its audiences abreast of the day to day happening in a language spoken a greater chunk of people in India sub-continent.

There is a huge market opportunity for an Urdu news channel because more than nine crore people in India speak and understand Urdu language. Aalami Sahara has gigantic market beyond India. Urdu is spoken in Pakistan and elsewhere in South Asia. Besides, its audiences are scattered in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates. So the channel will be available over a vast landscape, across Middle East, Central Asia, South Korea and Australia.
Sahara News Network has already made its mark in Hindi News channel genre, ‘Sahara Samay’. Sahara News Media is furnished with over 1,600 V-Sats for news collection and has 50 bureaus and some 1,000 correspondents across the globe.
