Zee TV gets landing rights in China

Essel Group's Zee TV has received the much-awaited landing rights in China which will enable the media firm to cater to audience in the mandarin country. 
"Zee TV has got the landing rights in China," a Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson said while briefing reporters on the talks between India's Foreign Minister S M Krishna and his Chinese counterpart Yang Jeichi here. 

Zee, one of the earliest entrants in the electronic media space in India, had applied for landing rights in China in 2006. 
Zee TV, the flagship channel of Zee Network was launched in October 1992. 
The channel reaches more than 120 countries and access to more than 500 million viewers globally including the UK, Europe, the US and Africa, according to its official website.
