Aptech Ltd, Hungama tie up for mobile education

Computer education service provider Aptech Ltd and Hungama Digital Entertainment have entered into a partnership to build the “mEducation” (mobile education) industry in India.
Through this partnership, Aptech will create “specialised courses across faculties” which are easy to understand and which can be distributed through various channels.

Hungama Digital Entertainment will develop this content on over 90 devices. The same will also be distributed via mobile, the internet and the DTH ecosystem.
mEducation is at a very nascent stage and is likely to generate $70 billion revenue opportunity for mobile and internet providers by 2020, said the release.
This content will be delivered and upgraded on a timely basis. Connected devices, especially with the power of touch, will now become the new tool for more interactive forms of learning, said Mr. Neeraj Roy, MD and CEO, Hungama Digital Media.
