Monster India launches app for mobiles

MonsterIndia.com online career and recruitment solutions provider has launched an application for mobile devices powered by Windows Phone. The app can be downloaded through Monsterindia.com and Windows Phone Marketplace and seekers can view and apply to job postings directly from their Windows smartphone, according to a press statement. 
“According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the country's mobile subscriber base has increased from 893.84 million in December 2011 to 903.73 million in January 2012. Looking at this growth, we are confident that new media, especially mobile technology, will continue to play a pivotal role in empowering jobseekers,” Mr Sanjay Modi, Managing Director, Monster.com (India/ Middle East/ South East Asia), said in a press statement.
