Gradiente to acquire TV channel

The company Gradiente Infotainment plans to acquire a General Entertainment Channel (GEC) with an estimated cost of Rs. 100 crore with a view to upgrade infrastructure and source content so the programmes can be telecast at the national level.
The company announced at the 20 th annual general meeting where it said it planned to work towards utilizing its professional synergies encompassing advertising, films and television programs and event management.

The company has also made its foray into the Telugu film industry, co-producing ‘Gud Morning’. Three movies from the company are also in the pipeline, the announcement said.
