IBC 2012: Video delivery offerings to be improved by Edgeware

The Swedish company Edgeware has decided to improve its Distributed Video Delivery Network (D-VDN) system. For the purpose it will be using Convoy VDN (Video Delivery Network) management system and the Orbit 3020 video server platform.
The Convoy VDN software suite to be used by Edgeware incorporates the required interfaces and management functions so that the operator can service both retail and wholesale CDN services.

Another tool to be used by Edgeware includes Orbit 3020 video server platform, which offers advanced capabilities for both retail and wholesale video and TV services across an operator’s network. The company has made customer deployments at the trade show in Amsterdam as well, including Ziggo and EpicTV.
