RBI Governor appears before Parliamentary panel on 2G spectrum scam

RBI Governor D Subbarao appeared before a parliamentary panel hearing 2G spectrum scam. He told the panel that he did not agree with the Finance Ministry note which had said the Finance Minister might have insisted for 2G spectrum auction. 
He did not agree that the 2G spectrum auction resulted in a loss. 

Subbarao, he appeared before the panel as a former Finance Secretary, and said he didn’t agree to the Finance Ministry note about Chidambaram could have insisted for the auction of 2G spectrum instead of allocation on first come first served basis. 
He was the Finance Secretary between April 30, 2007 and September 4, 2008. During the hearing, he said he didn’t believe there was any loss to the exchequer.
