Shyam Kumar becomes CEO, Puthiya Thalaimurai

The 24-hour Tamil news channel Puthiya Thalaimurai, gets RBU Shyam Kumar as the chief executive officer, from the earlier position of director, operations and handled marketing, HR, presentation and traffic, research and magazine circulation. 
The same company also publishes Puthiya Thalaimurai group of magazines. While talking to an advertising news website, Kumar said, "I will assess all the possibilities from various dimensions to position the channel as a global brand, without compromising on the core values that we have been hitherto upholding." 

Shyam Kumar holds 23 years of experience in sales and marketing and he started his career with Eureka Forbes in 1989. Later, he joined BPL in 1991 in direct marketing. The other compnies he worked in include The Times of India Group, Chennai, New Generation Media in 2009 as vice-president.
