Chief Minister Oomen Chandy released the logo of Channel Life, the first Health & Lifestyle television channel from South India.
Channel Life is the flagship project of Life Plus Media Ltd, which has the renowned Malayalam actor Siddique as its Chairman.
The channel would have programs on health, food habits, travel, environment, culture, technology, fashion and lifestyle. The studio complex of the Channel is being set up in the Kinfra complex at Kakkanad, Kochi, using the most modern technology.
Channel Life will start its test telecast from March, 2013. Regular telecast would start from May 2013.
The Channel is promoted by a team that includes specialists in the health sector, experienced media persons and prominent businessmen.
Channel Life Chairman Sidhique, Managing Director N E Harikumar, Joint MD Khalid A Backer, M P Murali & Thomas Varghese and General Manager Krishnadas were present on the occasion.
