Cent Percent Media to handle ad sales for 2 OTV group channels

Cent Percent Media Solutions (CPMS) has added two more channels to its advertising sales bouquet with the recent acquisition of advertising sales contracts of Tarang Music and Prarthana channels from Odisha Television Network (OTN). With this, CPMS now handles ad sales for 10 channels.
Commenting on the association, Ratikant Satpathy, VP, Odisha Television Network said, “The TV industry is currently at a tipping point. We realise that digitisation will drive exponential growth going forward, and channels like ours will get their fair share of growth. They will also be seen and evaluated more seriously. We see immense value in the professionalism of Cent Percent Media, especially their expertise and experience in both national and regional markets.”

Odisha Television Network owns and operates four channels – OTV, Tarang, Tarang Music and Prarthana – in Odisha. The Network’s sister concern, Ortel Communication, runs the largest cable distribution system in Odisha and neighbouring states.
Barun Das, Managing Director, Cent Percent Media said, “Odisha will certainly join the leagues of the six top language differentiated regional markets – viz., West Bengal, Maharashtra and the four Southern states. And OTV Group will certainly lead that development. We are aware that October 2013 onwards the TRAI-recommended inventory cap will come into place, which will be a boon for a section of TV channels. We are well prepared to derive maximum value for our clients.”
Amit Tripathi, CEO, Cent Percent Media added here, “We have a large national sales outfit with offices in all the metros. We understand the challenges of the new scenario post the implementation of TRAI’s advertising inventory cap. We are confident that our clients will be benefitted in that revised market scenario.”
Cent Percent Media Solutions, an outsourced national sales representation company, has been set up by some of the top media professionals to leverage the impending proliferation of India TV industry, riding the waves of digitisation of cable distribution.
