Ditto TV ties up with Ten Sports for international streaming rights

Ditto TV has acquired the international streaming rights from Ten Cricket to broadcast live the Caribbean 7-match Tri-Series that will be played between India-West Indies-Sri Lanka in West Indies from June 28 to Jul 11, 2013.
Vishal Malhotra, Business Head – New Media at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd said, “Coming on the heels of the Champions Trophy in England that India won spectacularly, the Caribbean Tri-Series is bound to whip up passions of a billion cricket crazy fans in India and from around the world. Our partnership with Ten Cricket will allow this viewer to get a slice of the action on-the-go.”

Ten Sports CEO Atul Pande added, “Busier schedules are making it difficult for many to follow live TV today. However, with the new age user getting increasingly savvy, and with mobile technology catching up, it makes a lot of sense for broadcasters to tap this medium. Ditto TV, with its assured and wide global viewer base, thus offers us the right medium to reach out to them.”
Cricket enthusiasts can not only watch the Caribbean Tri-Series but also the following India-Zimbabwe Series of five one-dayers starting July 24 on their smartphones, tablets, PCs and laptops by simply downloading the Ditto TV app.
