Sun TV too knocks on TDSAT's door for ad cap reprieve

As the October 1 deadline for implementation of the 10+2 ad cap approaches, broadcasters are going all out to stall the process. In a latest development, Sun TV has filed an appeal with the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) seeking exemption from implementing the ad cap on October 1.
Sun TV filed the appeal on September 25, 2013 and is waiting to hear from the Tribunal on its appeal.
