Endemol partners Fox Star Studios for maiden Bollywood film

Leading television content production company Endemol India has partnered with Fox Star Studios for its maiden Bollywood film ‘Traffic’. 
The emotional thriller starring Manoj Bajpai and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles will be produced under the banner of Eyedentity Motion Pictures, the motion picture arm of Endemol India. 

‘Traffic’, the Hindi adaptation of the critically acclaimed Malayalam blockbuster, will release on 7 March 2014. It is directed by national award winning film maker Rajesh Pillai, who also directed the original in Malayalam. The film has been adapted in Hindi by Suresh Nair with music by Mithoon.

Brought to life by a brilliant screenplay that pits together all the characters in a race against time, the incredible casting is bound to keep the audiences hooked till the end.”

Endemol India, the producer of shows like ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Fear Factor’, and ‘Laughter Challenge’, had last year entered into film production following CA Media’s 49 per cent stake buy.
