Virgin TV Anywhere is now available on Android with new addition of 9 channels

Virgin Media has launched a new app giving Android users the opportunity to access its internet-based Virgin TV Anywhere.
Mobile and tablet users can now watch content from 67 channels on the go, with nine more added to the service this week to mark the introduction of the Android app.

Alibi, Dave, Drama, Good Food, Home, Really, Watch, Yesterday and CBS Reality are all now available on Virgin TV Anywhere, giving viewers a wider range of options on the go.
The Virgin TV Anywhere app is free to all Virgin Media TiVo customers, and can be used whenever they have a Wi-Fi connection for their mobile device.
With the app, consumers can remotely manage their TiVo set-top box, rate shows, view recommendations and prioritise recordings.
Scott Kewley, Virgin Media's Director of Digital Entertainment, said that with the arrival of these "fantastic" new channels, Virgin TV Anywhere is "undoubtedly the market-leading service for those who want to take the best of their home entertainment with them to watch wherever they are at no extra cost".
