CQ- B. Sai Kumar quits Network 18

B Sai Kumar chief executive officer of Network 18 has given his resignation from the post on 28th May after serving for 14 years. 
He was elevated to top post in November 2011. He was with the group since its formative days. 
He was the man behind creation and management of group’s ventures in partnership with CNBC and CNN and its foray into entertainment sector in partnership with Viacom.
Kumar was also on the board of joint ventures of the group and had charted out Network18’s business turnaround and return to profitability, it added.
Commenting on the development, Network18 founder and editor Raghav Bahl said: “He has been one of the key pillars of the Network18 story. I am truly privileged to have been able to work with someone like Sai”. On his departure, Kumar said: “While all good things come to an end, I see it as a new beginning and I am positive and hopeful that Network18 scales new height here on.”
