CQ- IBN Network appoints Avinash Kaul as CEO

IBN 18 Network has appointed Avinash Kaul as chief executive officer (CEO).  He has recently quit as CEO of Times Now, ET Now and Zoom.
In his new role, Kaul will look after the three news channels CNN IBN, IBN7 and IBN Lokmat (50% JV with Lokmat Group). He will be responsible for the day-to-day operational, strategic and financial management of the general news network. One of Kaul’s key tasks at IBN will be the consolidation and diversification of TV18’s general news network. 
Network18 Group CEO B Saikumar said, “Avinash brings a very successful track record as a leader and a wealth of knowledge about the media and broadcasting industry. Now, as we gear up for an ambitious phase of growth, I am convinced that he has the inclusive skills and leadership that are needed to steer us through. He has our best wishes and support.”
