Zee TV will be available on Singapore Telecommunications Ltd’s (SingTel) mio TV service from 16 June.
The Hindi general entertainment channel will come at no additional cost to its customers of Desi+, Desi Movie Combo, Desi Cricket Combo and Desi Super packs. The channel will also be available on free preview for all SingTel mio TV customers from 16 June to 15 July.
Zee Entertainment SVP international business Tripta Singh said, “We are excited about launching on SingTel mio TV and this partnership with SingTel will help us to reach a wider audience base in Singapore.”
With the addition of Zee TV, customers can now have a complete suite of Hindi channels that feature Hindi movies, music, entertainment and the latest news in one content pack.
SingTel MD TV Goh Seow Eng said, “We are thrilled to welcome the much requested Zee TV to SingTel mio TV’s ethnic content suite. The addition of Zee TV makes our Desi pack the best value Hindi pack that is currently available, and the diversity of content ensures that our customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to Indian entertainment.”
Other Hindi channels available on the service include Star Plus, Sony Max, Colors, MTV India, Eros Bollywood on Demand and the recently added News18 India, which are available for Desi+ customers for $29.90 per month.
