CQ-FIC re-branded Fox Traveller as Fox Life India

Fox International Channels (FIC) has decided to re-brand its lifestyle channel Fox Traveller as Fox Life India.
In its new form, FOX Life India aims to deliver a slate of non-scripted content that is relatable and inspired by real life. The channel will host a mix of both US and India produced reality programmes which is designed to match its modern target audience.
Unlike FOX Life International, FOX Life India features only the logo of its mother brand. The current schedule of FOX Life houses FOX Traveller veteran series such as Style & the City,Eat Street and acquired reality series includingKitchen Nightmares and Styled by June.
Speaking to media NGC and FIC India MD Keertan Adyanthaya said that the broadcaster had thought about this move six months back. “We wanted to expand our horizons and offer new things. Fox Traveller has been doing well and we wanted to take things to the next level. So we brought in the change on 15 June.”
Talking about the state of the lifestyle genre, NGC and FIC India VP marketing, communication Debarpita Banerjee said that the channel and genre are both on a very healthy experimenting and growing phase. “Especially with digitisation, more and more people are discovering the easy-to-like content such as travel, food and fashion. We are very confident that this growth is only going to get better down the years.”
