Nitesh Kripalani executive VP new media, business development and digital of Multi Screen Media (Sony Entertainment Network) had given resignation from the post. As per the media report he had submitted his resignation paper last week..
The 33 year old Kripalani was ranked amongst the top 40 under 40 executives in India by Business Today magazine as recently as March this year and he was extremely gung-ho about SonyLiv, which the magazine says contributed 5 per cent to MSM's topline. And he was hopeful of taking that up to 15 per cent in the next three years.
He joined MSM in 2009 as VP of planning and analysis for Sony Entertainment Network and was promoted to VP of business development and digital/syndication in June 2010, where he chalked out the new media strategy for Sony Entertainment Network and restructured the team.
