Doordarshan additional director general V K Jain has been given charge of administration department in addition to finance, PR & publicity, commercial & sales and Doordarshan archives.
Jain who joined DD directorate in March 2012 has been actively involved in the re-branding exercise of the pubcaster. Apart from being the driving force for constant publicity and PR drives since last year, he is behind the social media surge at Doordarshan and is constantly pushing to strengthen Doordarshan archives as well.
