India's leading DTH service providerTata Sky with 11 million subscribers, has renewed its contract with Technicolor for Media Play set -top--boxes (STBs)till mid 2015.
This has been done in the light of 10 year partnership between Tata Sky and Technicolor.
The special milestone follows an earlier announcement in May for Technicolor to ship 4K STBs in volume to Tata Sky from early 2015.
Techicolor's range of Media Play set-top boxes provide a wide array of services and advanced functions such as multi-screen on demand, wireless streaming or over-The Top-Services.
