CQ-Writ Petition filed in Bangladesh Supreme Court against three Indian TV channels

A Bangladeshi lawyer has filed a writ petition in the country’s Supreme Court to stop transmission of three Indian television channels in the country. 
According to the petitioner the three Indian channels namely-Star Jalsa, Zee Bangla and Star Plus are having an adverse impact on social and cultural life of Bangladeshi people. Their transmission therefore, must stop.  
Education of the students and regular functions of housewives are being hampered as they keep watching the programmes of the channels, petitioner said. 
Petitioner also contended that the Bangladeshi television channels are not allowed to broadcast in India. 
It is important to note here that the Bangladeshi television channels are not allowed to broadcast in India.
