CQ-Zee to withdraw scrolls against Hathway

Zee Entertainment Ltd has decided to withdraw the scrolls running on its channels against Hathway Cable & Datacom after the issues has reached to Telecom Disputes Settlement and Arbitration Tribunal (TDSAT).
On 8th August Hathway Cable & Datacom has filed a miscellaneous application seeking withdrawal of scrolls from Zee channels. While responding to the application Mrs. Prathiba M. Singh, learned senior counsel appearing for M/s Taj Television (India) Pvt. Ltd. (distribution arm of ZEE) states that the offensive scrolls would be withdrawn and she also invited Mr. Arun Kathpalia, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner to have a discussion in regard to any grievance that Hathway may have in connection with the advertisements.
However, she further stated that Taj Television intends to file a miscellaneous application for a recall or modification of the order passed on 1 August. The Tribunal on 1st august has passed an ordered in which the tribunal had directed Taj Television to restore signals to Hathway networks while also allowing the MSO to put Taj bouquet of channels on à la carte.
