According to sources Cable Operator's Sangharsh Samiti lead by Ram Singh has been fighting for the rights of hundreds of Cable Operators hooked on to Fastway Network operated by Sarabjit Singh Raju.
It is alleged that Raju has threatened Ram Singh not to give witness in an old case of sex racket in which Raju is involved, otherwise his children and family will be eliminated.  Ram Singh has suffered a heart attack after receiving the threats.
The sex racket case is in progress in Patiala CBI Court and Chandigarh High Court.
Local industry sources also say that Fastway is in the process of destroying Ram Singh's Cable TV business by replacing his subscriber STBs with its own, Already 500  STBs have been replaced, the source say. This is being done to pressurise Ram Singh.
