Vinay Tewari resigned from Network18 as Managing Director & is likely to Join Headlines Today as Managing Editor. Tewari had taken on the additional responsibility of Managing Editor, IBN7 in January 2014 after Ashutosh decided to move on. Tewari has been Managing Editor of CNN-IBN.
Prior to Network18, he was Metro Editor and Senior Producer, TV Today Network for three years, where he was Head of the Delhi Bureau of Aaj Tak.
Before that, he was Deputy Metro Editor, The Times of India from May 1994 to August 2002, where he joined the newsdesk and was part of the team that launched Delhi Times.
Tewari started his career in journalism with English newspaper The Pioneer as a Staff Reporter in February 1993.
