Veteran film and TV director Ravi Chopra passes away

Veteran film and TV director Ravi Chopra is no more. He passed away on Wednesday, Nov 12, 2014 at the age of 68 following a lung ailment.
According to reports, Chopra was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai as he was not keeping well for some time. He is survived by his wife and three children.
Ravi Chopra came from a legendry family of filmmakers. He was the son of B R Chopra and Yash Chopra was his uncle. He directed movies like ‘Zameer’, ‘The Burning Train’, ‘Mazdoor’, ‘Dahleez’ and ‘Baabul’
His biggest success came from the TV adaptation of ’Mahabharat’, which continues to have a following even today.
