e-Commerce companies in Delhi worried as AAP takes charge

The e-retailers are a worried lot with Kejriwal lead Aam Admi Party coming in power in Delhi.
Kejriwal has voiced his sentiments against e-retailers showing his preference for traditional retailers who have been fighting against the growing business of online shopping companies.
While the AAP does not mention e-commerce in its manifesto, the 26-month party is opposed to foreign direct investment in retail, a stand similar to that of the current Narendra Modi-led government.
In recent times, e-commerce companies have been under the scanner of state authorities for violation of various tax norms.
