Prasar Bharti signs MoU with Qatar Media

Public Broadcaster Prasar Bharati and Qatar Media Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their cooperative relationship in the field of Radio and Television. 
The MoU was signed by Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar and Ambassador of Qatar Ahmed Ibrahim Abdulla Al Abdulla in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi amd Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
Under the MoU, broadcasters have agreed to exchange journalists, TV and radio technicians as well as experts in the field of media. Prasar Bharti and Qatar Media Corp will also work towards improving mutual understanding of social, economic and political aspects of the countries. 
Prasar Bharati, with this MoU, hopes to enrich the content of the programmes being aired by All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan.
