On seeing popularity of devotional channels in Telugu since last few years, 6TV Group has decided to launch a new devotional channel named ‘Darshanam’ this week. The group has already 6TV and 6TV Telangana in its bouquet.
Apart from the regular programming and discourses, the new channel acquired 300 mythological movies and five serials and two animation programmes, Yeleti Suresh Reddy, Chariman of 6TV Group said at the launch.
This weekend, Zee Telugu is busy organising its 10th anniversary celebrations. Special sets have been set up at the venue for two days where all the big stars are to be spotted rubbing shoulders with those from small screen.
Viewers will have to wait for a few weeks to watch the event as the channel plans to telecast it around mid-May.
