Namit Sharma, a programming Head at ZEE TV has decided to quit the company. He had been appointed last year and would work in the company till 8th May.
Pradeep Hejmadi, Business Head of ZEE TV, will oversee programming on the channel until a replacement has been found.
The hit shows during the tenure at ZEE TV, includes ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, ‘Jamai Raja’, ‘Neeli Chatri Waale’ and the recent launch of ‘DID Super Moms Season 2′.
Prior to Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (Zeel) in February 2014, Sharma was Wizcraft Television and Films business head and chief creative officer. He had replaced Ajay Bhalwankar at Zee, who had quit to join Sony Entertainment Television (SET) as chief creative officer.
