India TV, a Hindi news channel based in Noida, has promoted Sudipto Chowdhuri to Executive President–Sales. He joined the company in January 2013 as Country Head- Advertising Sales position.
On getting promotion news Sudipto Chowdhuri said, “I would like to especially thank MD & CEO Ritu Dhawan not only for the appreciation and recognition but also for placing trust and giving me a free hand to handle sales in a fiercely competitive scenario.”
Sudipto started his career in advertising with Tata Yellow Pages in Delhi.
After Tata Yellow Pages, he joined India Today Group as Deputy Manager Advertising (IMPACT).
He then moved to Zee Network as a Senior Manager - Ad Sales and was handling the entire network sales based out of Hyderabad for the Andhra Pradesh market. Then he was promoted to Associate Vice President – Sales, and moved to Chennai to handle Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh markets.
After Zee network he moved to Star News as Head of Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh and then he moved to Mumbai.
After Star news he got national responsibility with TV 9 Group and after TV 9 he joined India TV in January 2013.
