Cisco’s Chairman and CEO to address Indian Employees from Bengaluru

The Chairman and the new CEO of Cisco, John Chambers and Chuck Robbins will be visiting India shortly and will address 12,500 Cisco’s India employees via Cisco TV on 19th June. The duo will host an “India All Hands” meeting from the Bengaluru campus of Cisco, wherein Chambers will introduce the new CEO, Chuck Robbins, who will take over the reigns from July 26th as the company enters into the new FY 2016 on August 1st.
Following the introduction, Chambers will chalk out his vision for the company’s next phase of growth. He is supposed to take the charge as company’s executive chairman from July 26th.
Meanwhile, Presidents Rob Lloyd and Garry Moore are making an exit from the company on July 25, while Chief Technology and Strategy Officer, Padmasree Warrior, will step down in September. Senior vice-president of Cisco Services, Edzard Overbeek too has decided to quit and Wim Elfrink, Cisco’s chief globalisation officer who opened the company’s second global headquarters in Bengaluru will retire on July 25th.
