Cable Mahabharat in Mathura, UP

A dispute created by DEN MSO in handing over control of their Mathura Operations from one JV to another lead to shooting incurring many. A large posse of police persons from a number of police stations had to rush to the spot to take things under control.
 On the night of 21st August, Bhuteshwar Chowk in Mathura reverberated with bullet noise when two groups of Cable Operators fought a fierce battle for the control of DEN office at the Mohan Pehlwan Complex, injuring some people. Police has arrested half a dozen persons from both sides and investigations are going on.
Divendra Pahelwan is one of the arrested who is a well known wrestler of the area. Immediately after his arrest, a crowed from his village came to the Police Station Kotwali and encircled it demanding suspension of the station in charge.
Trouble started when on 21 August, Kapil Batto of DEN asked Kailash Gupta of Neo News to takeover the DEN office at Mohan Pahelwan Complex, Bhuteshwar Tiraha, Mathura as it had terminated its MoU signed with Maharaja Telesystems Pvt. Ltd. of Mr. Alok Singh, Ms Shehla Rizvi and Mr. Kaushal Agarwal on 18 August.
