Sunny Digital MSO operations launched in Hyderabad

City-based Sunny Digital Home Entertainment Pvt Ltd a DAS registered MSO from Hyderabad announced the launch of its operations on 7 December. The company plans to private advanced technology triple play services for its viewers in South India. It will offer Multi screen, multi-service & app-based access to a world of content and services as seen in developed markets.
The latest Broadcast Information and Communication Technology (BICT) that is being introduced by Sunny Digital aims to revolutionise the service and impact consumers  Traditionally, cable TV networks were merely ‘one way providing signals of many TV channels.
The company plans to present a new dimension to the existing set up by bringing in a plethora of services under its support. By leveraging the company’s technology, Local Cable Operators (LCO) become the one and only ‘Digital and e-Service-commerce partner’ of this unique multiple revenue model of digital cable service business. 
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Y.S.Krishna, Director, Sunny Digital Home Entertainment Pvt Ltd said, This network is dedicated to a Digital Telangana and I am thankful to all well wishers who have contributed to this vision as benchmark.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rahul Nehra, National Secretary, SCTE said, Sunny Digital Plus will herald a new era of digital services transforming the lives of the consumers across Telangana. This will set a new national and international benchmark of digital transition.
The company’s satellite-based solution enables it reach the remotest parts of the country & provide an entire bouquet of content, commerce and e-services in rural areas, supporting the ‘Digital India’ initiative of the government.
The venture is partnered with optiemus, an indigenous manufacturer of STBs. Other vendors helping the MSO include Ericsson, Zen/Home Via, Verimatrix, Newland, NSTV, LGCNS, Blue Tower, Flashpoint, SCTE and Picture Time.
Mrs. Roop Sharma, President, Cable Operators Federation of India was a Guest at the launch and complimented the efforts of Mr. Krishna in introducing state of the art headend and appreciated his efforts in helping the LCOs to easy futuristic cable services.
