Chandan Kumar,Huawei's marketing director, has resigned to join Nokia as the India head of Optics business. Kumar has been with Huawei for over 12 years across various functions, including the company's wireline business. Earlier, he worked at Nortel Networks for over two years, and HFCL for over 8 years.
Currently, the Chinese gear maker is going through a tough time having cut its direct workforce in India by a third. After cuts, Huawei has a workforce of around 8,000 individuals spread across sales, supply chain, R&D and network engineering functions.
