Discovery Jeet becomes popular from day 1; reaches 140 million

Perfect planning, strong content, and targeted advertising and aggressive collaborations have propelled Discovery Communications India’s first Hindi GEC Discovery Jeet to greater heights from day one. The channel has reached of over 140 million on the launch day-12 February.


According to Discovery Communications India SVP & Head, Affiliate Sales Vijay Rajput, “We are delighted with the overwhelming support that we have received from the cable fraternity. We thank all the affiliate partners for helping us rewrite history. It is a matter of pride that Discovery Jeet has launched with a reach of 140 million plus – a feat never achieved before in the annals of TV history in India.”

Available on all leading DTH operators and MSOs, Discovery also said that the Top 10 EPG position will ensure that viewers have the opportunity to sample the differentiated programming.
