Airtel Digital TV’s Q4 EBITDA stands at Rs 370 crore

As per latest disclosure, the direct to home (DTH) arm Bharti Telemedia, Airtel Digital TV’s EBITDA for the quarter ended 31 March (Q4) has remained unattractive at Rs 370.1 crore as against Rs 370.8 crore in the trailing quarter ended 31 December.


Its capital expenditure stands at Rs 206.4 crore compared to Rs 236 crore. The resultant operating free cash flow during the quarter was at Rs 163.7 crore compared to Rs 134.8 crore.

In terms of net customer additions during the quarter, it added 230,000 compared to 416,000 in the trailing quarter. The company closed the fiscal with 14.2 million customers. The company’s ARPU for the quarter declined to Rs 228 as compared to Rs 233. Monthly churn stood at 1.1% as against 1.2% in the previous quarter.
